I’m a Canadian creative capturing stories and emotions in words and pixels on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Chonnonton Nations in London, Ontario, Canada.
Creativity fuels my spirit.
Nature nurtures my soul.
I abandoned a science career to pursue my passion for writing and photography. It was a leap of faith that I've never regretted. More than 15 years later, I'm still developing new ways to express emotion through stories, poetry, and images.
My words are in magazines, on websites, and in a book.

I see the world through the lens of my camera. No creature is too small or landscape too large. My love of the natural world increases with each photograph I take and composite artwork that I create from my images - I don't use generative AI. It starts with light... the long shadows of winter, brilliance of summer, golden filter of autumn, and soft rays of spring bring endless possibilities of creativity. I remain hopeful my work will encourage protection of rapidly disappearing ecosystems and make people pause and reflect on how Nature is interconnected, interdependent and indispensable.

Writing Portfolio
Writing has been my constant friend since my youth. Words help me heal, grow and process the challenges of life. Whether it's short fiction, poetry (especially haiku), business reports, grant applications, copy or a magazine article, carefully crafting emotive sentences to "show, don't tell" brings happiness and fulfillment. It's about selecting the correct word, tightening sentences and listening to the flow of the phrases as they nearly take flight off the page,
